How to Take Accurate Measurements
1) Measure the Width
Measure the widest point of the chair, sofa, or cushion.
2) Measure the Height / Depth
Depending on the item, take the height or the seating depth.
3) Consider Fabric Direction & Pattern Repeat
If your fabric has a directional pattern, the layout affects the yardage.
TIP – Always allow 5–10% extra fabric for seams, pattern alignment, and shrinkage.
